About Melissa
Working on my Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (with a concentration in Occupational Health Psychology) after completing my M.S. in Applied Psychology. I live with my fabulously personable dog in the deep South, navigating the muddy (sometimes sludge-filled) waters of grad school with rusty paddle (or "enjoying life as a twentysomething" who happens to be young and poor).
My "official" research interests (so beyond simple overuse of punctuation) include: burnout, incivility and interpersonal conflict at work, nursing, applying social and clinical psychological findings to the workplace and my own work, hardiness and resilience, history of psychology, and affective forecasting.
