Disclaimer: As a Naturalist and Scientist these are my observations. This may be disturbing to some people as they may have to think of cause and effect.

Somewhere in Asia they are laughing their asses off,"Americans will buy anything if you just say it's green and sustainable." Fact is the bamboo is on the other side of the world. Bamboo is green in Asia not here in America. I love bamboo I planted 3 varieties 3 years ago 2 lived and have sprouts someday I may have a stand.

This is my observation. Intelligent people are a minority.
There is an abundance of businesses, causes, and charities that are addressing problems. Addressing and milking them for every dime they can make to the tunes of billions dollars. They are scared of the truth, or the solution to the problems.
Whole industries built around perpetuating problems.
If things like the cure to cancer is reveled the hospital industry would be devastated. Medical treatments that leave the victims dependent needing drugs and medical care for life, all doctor induced because It good business to have more patients. Even though there are treatments that don't have the side effects.

lol. Once a oil man always a oil man. T.B. Pickens pulls the plug on his windmill scheme now supporting drilling for natural gas and oil. With over a million supporters of his energy plan based on wind energy he shuts it down and now endorses oil and gas. Imagine that? The problem was to be the infrastructure to deliver the electricity. The solution would be to make smaller wind farms right next to the grid. Can you say rocket science.

More species can live in a warmer temperature than an ice age. There are more species at the equator than the North and south poles. So why be concerned? Because of the ocean. Not the rise and fall of it but the temperature. Cold and Hot are what run our weather, ocean currents, and protect the earth with currents or flows of energy. We have a valuable resource of methane hydrate frozen on the ocean floor about 400 million trillion cubic feet that's one of many different estimates, anyway a lot, a real lot of this frozen gas. As the ocean warm and this gas is released we have a real problem can you say extinction. My question is at what point do we reach the point of no return with the ocean temperatures?

Its my opinion that the current economic conditions were brought on by high gas prices. I believe if we can consume less fuel we can stabilize the price of gasoline and our economy. If we do nothing we will have contributed to our failing economy. Here is a solution we can implement right now, saving money and improving our economy.
I have doubled my gas mileage. If you have improved your mileage and want to share your designs or ideas please post. If you are an idiot and think it is impossible to improve gasoline mileage don't waste our time.

Let me introduce myself an environmental activist when I was young now older I am a scientist solving problems. I work every day in my field environmental agriculture lab. I am an expert in various fields, potato field, flower field, melon field just to name a few. OK that was a stab at humor, not only do I know my stuff I experiment hands on with practical applications. The humidity and heat has kick me back to the house where I now find time to share my findings.

You are probably addicted right know, it's O.K. everyone else is also. This experiment has been on the American food consumers without prejudice to religion, status, or race. It is a complete success we have managed to slip an undetected drug like caffeine, alcohol, or heroin into the food supply by mislabeling it as a food additive. As a result you have been part of a great experiment and it will continue without your consent.

The benefits are healthy lab animals exposed to this additive consume 40% more food. The side effects are obesity. But that's not all bad there are other things also. This drug effects the neurotransmitters in your brain causing you to produce up to 150 times more histamines. Side effects can mirror an allergic reaction.

In Los Angeles people are attributed to living 4 months longer now that particulate in the air has been reduced. The real present and future hazard to humanity is particulate in the atmosphere. The type that is produced from volcanoes, meteorite strikes, and pollution.

As a species we have very little written history. So after looking at the ice cores and tree rings it is evident that the earth has experienced prolonged winters for periods of years. These were caused by particulate blocking out the sun. It has happened in the past and it is probable it will happen again.

This is big! Scientist have been puzzled about the fertile land of the Amazon that has been producing for after 500 years since the original natives were decimated by the Spaniards. After analyzing the soil they discovered it was full of charcoal.

A little bit about carbon: If you burn a tree or let it rot or compost the same amount of carbon is released. But if you turn it into charcoal then work it in the soil you lock the carbon up! Producing fertile land for centuries! Can you imagine fertilizer for centuries! This is exciting.

This is some of my work and life experience, I have simplified it so the average reader can hopefully understand. If this post can help even one wheelchair bound sufferer walk, or a chronic back pain sufferer return to normal, or cure arthritis in a sufferer, this post is worth it. Links at bottom of page.

Knowledge is key.

Bees are amazing creatures, honey from the tombs in Egypt was heated and it was good as new. What other food thousands of years old could do that?

With the war in Iraq and Afghanistan Medics and Doctors are trying to treat wounds better. What they found is honey from New Zealand where the bees foraged on herbs are a better dressing than any antibiotic. The wounds healed faster without infection.
