GET YE SOME CULTURE!

Really.  Come on.  Help us out.  Look, I know vampires are cool and all, but face it Bram Stroker's Dracula is a drag,  I, literally, started that book six times before I slogged my way through it.  On the other hand, the other story that came out of that legendary evening, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, is phenomenal.  Unlike Dracula, I've been back to Frankenstein's well multiple times with greater enjoyment with each revisit.

While appealling to the illiterate is a fool's task on a blog, I would be remiss if I missed the chance to let you know that The Classic Tales Podcast is currently presenting Frankenstein in an audio format in an 8-par seris FOR FREE.  These podcasts will only be available for free for a short period, so get your asses in gear, people.

I'm definitely more of a Frankenstein fan than a Dracula fan.  However, I've never been able to choose between Boris Karloff and Fred Gwynne.
