Generally: a bizarre, non-linear thought process combined with highly efficient and continuous information immersion and a photographic memory.

Specifically: I get "Calvin&Hobbes" in my RSS feed every morning.  mrs. rugbyolgist is a huge fan of Don Hertzfeldt's film "Rejected", which led to a passing familiarity with some of his other work.
