About Susan Hi- I'm a graduate student in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. I study the regulation of gene expression in choanoflagellates, the closest single-celled relatives of animals, in order to explore the role of gene regulation in the origin of animals.
