Georg von Hippel is a theoretical physicist researching lattice QCD, the theory describing the strong interactions that bind quarks into hadrons.
He did his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge.
When he isn't running endless computer programs to study subnuclear physics, he enjoys reading about almost anything and listening to music (especially Bach and Handel). He also has a blog called Life on the Lattice.
