About Pasi Hakkarainen

Pasi Hakkarainen, MSc(econ), major in Information Systems and Computer Science at University of Jyväskylä. Project Manager at Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences.

I'm working with Information... Full Bio

Now I tried to click "write an article" but hastily appearing message told (I think) that I should write something at my blog. I have not been using Scientific Blogging for a while and the template and functionality of the site has changed. But I think and hope that I'll learn fast to use SB again.

I though, that I could post an old article about knowledge work, which I made five years ago, when I worked as a researcher at Agora Learning Laboratory. It was year 2003 and my task was to do some background research about knowledge work theory and knowledge work tools. However the project was closed soon after I started there, so my work was never published anywhere and actually no one was interested about it anymore. But I did spend some time with my work and I would be happy, if I could post it here at SB.

I had my own hesitations when I started using the new interface. I fear change! But I think the site is a lot more user-friendly now.

Looking forward to reading your work. Welcome back!

Write blog and write article are the same functionality now, except blogs don't get syndicated so they can be shorter or not science, etc. and it's okay.  We kept them somewhat hidden before while we figured it out.

That makes sense, because I think that many people wish to write to blog also besides scientific articles.
