Maggie Bellville, a partner at CarterBaldwin, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, and highly respected senior executive in the cable and telecommunications industry, has accepted an invitation to chair the American Israeli Chamber of Commerce Telecommunications Committee. Bellville's term of service begins immediately.

We are extremely fortunate to have recruited this capable leader with such outstanding knowledge and contacts to head this important sector for the Chamber, said AICC Board Chairman Laurence Olivier (and partner at Veritas Venture Partners).

During the recent AICC Business Mission to Israel delegation, Bellville led a seminar at RAD Data Communications, hosted by Zohar Zisapel, for 15 Israeli telecommunications companies. She has actively supported the Telecommunications Committee's major initiatives, including the U.S. -Israel Broadband Business Exchanges hosted by Cox Communications, the U.S. -Israel New Media Business Exchange hosted by Turner Broadcasting, and last year's Amdocs Innovation Exchange for ATT.

Recently appointed to the Board of Directors of RCH Cable, she is a former Charter Communications Chief Operating Officer, and earlier served as Executive Vice President of Operations at Cox Communications. Bellville also held leadership positions at Century Cable, GTE Wireless, Contel Cellular, ATT, and at New York Telephone. Bellville currently is on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation.

A recipient of numerous professional honors and distinctions, Bellville has been named one of the Top 10 Women by the Atlanta Business Journal, and Woman of the Year by Women In Cable Telecommunications (WICT), among other industry honors. Bellville has served on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the California Cable Television Association; Cable Positive, and the Women in Cable and Telecommunications Foundation.
