GENEVA, Switzerland and RABAT, Morocco, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Today in Rabat, the Association for International Mobility (AIM) and the Hassan II Foundation, will present a new Internet-based Services Platform for Moroccans Living Abroad (SPM), relying on WISeKey secure identity technology and codes protected by OISTE.

This project will provide a new dimension to the work of the Hassan II Foundation, said Ambassador Omar Azziman, Acting President of the Foundation.

The SPM will be a powerful tool in advancing AIM's vision of an open, efficient, fair and sustainable system of human mobility worldwide. Nothing like the SPM now exists, said AIM Co-Chair Brunson McKinley.

WISeKey has developed the SPM which includes a protected internet identity that each user will establish and keep for his or her exclusive use; a system already tested in Swiss elections, the Swiss banking system, and many other applications, said Carlos Moreira, CEO, WISeKey.

The Hassan II Foundation is charged by the Moroccan government to maintain contact with Moroccans abroad and to work to improve their lives.

AIM was created in cooperation with corporate and civil society partners and was launched at the 2009 World Economic Forum in Davos with the mandate to enable the private sector to act directly and effectively on the major economic, social and humanitarian challenges of human mobility.

The International Organisation for the Security of Electronic Transactions (OISTE) Foundation is the guarantor of internet privacy and guards its codes in secure bunkers in Switzerland.

WISeKey SA is the one of the world's leading internet security company, with headquarters in Geneva.
