We get to have a Halloween costume contest?  What can I win?

Wait ... those are Scientific Blogging shirts!    That means I am reduced to purchasing the loot for the winners, right?

Fair enough, here is the last pic of me in a Halloween costume I have.   I didn't wear one last year because the year before, when this was taken, everyone kept asking me if I was that annoying guy in the new Star Wars movies - the one that everyone wanted to slap who supposedly becomes the scariest person in the universe.

I am clearly a Ninja.   I have a toy, stuffed kitana that squeaks.   It's nothing like a light saber.

Oh, I thought you looked like a security guard! They are by far more scary than any Star Wars persona or Ninja these days....:-)

Hank's picture
You have ninjas as security guards in Norway??? It must be the most awesome place to visit ever. It sounds like a video game.

hahahaha nice Hank.. cant wait til thurs! haha I have to get a costume first, but yeah.. :)
Hank are we going to have a party!??! Or just Togo's again haha?

I'm not sure if ninjas "really" wear those things over their heads with slits over the eyes, but you might have been more identifiable as a ninja that way. I always make my costumes out of paper, though, so they're not very good at all.

I would like to claim, that this is my Halloween Ninja costume, but it is just for my daily bicycling to work in winter.

We do not celebrate Halloween that much here in Finland. Shame, because I already have a cool NowPublic t-shirt and if I had a Scientific Blogging t-shirt too, I could wash them time to time.

I still think you beat Hank, hands down.

Hank's picture
Well, that pic didn't have my awesome ninja sword, so I spent valuable time looking for the other one ... now am I cool?? It squeaks!

I would just like to say, that a light saber (that has light and sound) is WAAAAAY better than any excuse for a squeaky katana dog chew toy.

squeaky katana dog chew toy <---- Made me giggle

Did I mention that there were prizes for the best costumes?

This is the only Halloween costume I have a picture of... from a couple years back.  My husband has this thing for "I Dream of Genie".  He might have had some input on the costume choice...

This year I have no costume photo to submit!  More than likely I'll either be a vending machine (dispensing candy at the front door), or a coat rack (holding all the sweaters and costume accessories my children discard while trick or treating).

By the way, If the kitchen looks familiar... I'm sure it's completely a coincidence.
