It has as much to do with science as World War 2 games have to do with war.   Wright didn't intend it but Creationists will get more out of it than science gamers will.    He's doing marketing - no one would buy a game where the designer says it's a cartoon simplification.  

I was going to write an article on this but couldn't finish it.   I have notes, though, so I can make it a blog.(edit - and did)
