Scientificblogging.com math whiz Garth Sundem was on Good Morning America today - even better, Diane Sawyer referred to him as both 'genius' and 'charming.'

I bet she says that to all the writers!

Garth talked about his book, Geek Logik and did live demos of his equations.

Congratulations, Garth!

Wow. Thanks for blowing the curve, Garth.

Now the pressure is really on the rest of us. I can't even get on "Good Morning Fremont."

I saw GMA this morning and I think everyone was enthralled with your work. Great going.

Garth, I saw you on GMA, and Diane Sawyer is right... you are charming!  I've also read your book.  But according to your calculations my husband and I should only have 2 children, and we have 3.  Are we supposed to give one back?

Call Madonna, since everyone in Africa is hiding their kids from her by now.

Yes, math never ever lies and you will have to give back one of your children. However, you may choose which one. If you have a teenage girl, I might suggest starting there. Maybe you could load this hypothetical teen to my wife and me as a babysitter. We would feed her well. And teach her to use an abacus.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention,
Garth (aka the Mao of Math)

Hey Garth.
Assuming you're the person I think you are,
-you still playing the sax?
I've always wished I'd taken you up on the offer to come sing w/you. Been in my thoughts lately (pre-book, mind you).
I'd love to catch up, if you're game.
I'm not on B.I. anymore, but never really made it out of Seattle. If you email me from the address I've listed on this form, you'll get my _real_ contact info.
If not, send to my first name_my last name@yahoo.com
Sorry I missed your reading out here-I found out about it after the fact. If I've got the wrong person, feel free to just ignore this. Congrats on the book! -Ai*(

Nice going! A regular celebrity! I hope he got her phone number  =)

Mr. Sundem,

Is there any chance you could email me so I could ask you a question offline?

Thank you,
Jerome
